"You shouldn't complain about the heat". I hear myself say that over and over, and when it's TOO hot, I try to think of the cold winter days when toes are frozen to the ground and fingers are stiff with cold.
But if you're not exactly where I am in your life. Namely in the middle of my 2nd puberty (which I like to call the menopause) so it can be difficult to understand that the heat can be unbearable.
And now it could be that you're either not a woman, that you're not as old as me, or that you haven't just been given that challenge to box with, but so you understand what it's like, imagine being rolled in in a black garbage bag and then parked in a sauna. Well, only for a minute or three, but I can promise you it's uncomfortable. All the pli smokes directly in the lokum and the urge to tear off pieces of clothing is almost impossible to control.
Well, that's about the only challenge I have with my 2nd puberty, and even though it may sound like an easy pass, know that it also means you wake up drenched in sweat several times during the night. Interrupted sleep is therefore such a really unwelcome bonus friend that you get with you.
For a few months, I have therefore tried Menopause from VitaYummy. And at first I didn't notice much of a difference. But when I sat down to think about how much I've been awake at night over the past few years, and how unbearably hot I've been, I can feel that something has changed. Are the hot flashes completely gone? Nope! They are not. But they are not that violent and they don't last very long. What HAS disappeared are the hot flashes I used to have at night, which means I can nap for 8 hours on the shield without having to turn the covers and pillows.
I love them and don't want to live without them!
