ARRRGGHHHHHH!!!! is just one of those outbursts that can come from me at 2 a.m. when I turn for the 17th time restlessly, too hot all over, and without having closed an eye.

I don't know if you know the feeling of lying awake, but I can tell you that it is terrible. Seeing the time ticking away, and at the same time knowing that it's a countdown clock to when I have to get up and (on paper) be fresh and ready for a WHOLE day in the company of other people who may even HAVE slept and therefore is unbearable very fresh and fresh…

It's one of the enjoyable things that can come with menopause. Moreover, a period of a woman's life which can only be described as a second puberty. You can become just as unbearably annoying and frustrated, just as foggy and lethargic, and by the way feel changes in the body that you can't quite put your finger on, but which just feel "off".



But back to sleep. I have had two challenges as the hardest, one has been the hot flashes (you will get something about them in another post) and then the sleep. Therefore, it was with excitement that I received " Sleep Support " from VitaYummy. I was very much looking forward to trying them, but I have to be completely honest to say that I did not have such "jubilant" anticipation. I have had a number of challenges with my body and have tried everything possible.

So I started with two wine gums after dinner, and then went to bed at the usual time, which for me is between 10 and 11 pm. At first I thought "it's a placebo!" for I had fallen asleep faster than I had for a long time, and I had slept really well. I still woke up during the night, but for less time and I fell back asleep quickly.

You have no idea what getting a full night of uninterrupted sleep does to your bottom line, so if you haven't tried it, I recommend you give it a shot. I don't know how it will work for you, but for me it gives me a hammer in the forehead late at night so I can turn off my brain and then it keeps me asleep.
